Mouille Point Sea Wall Rehabilitation
Provision of Professional Services for the rehabilitation of sections of the sea wall of 70 to 80 year old seawall along a 4,5km promenade. The first phase is for some 600m of wall which has been strengthened on the landside and faced with precast panels and copings. Includes new handrailing, paving and a seating wall along the length of the wall using granite stone recovered from the face of the wall. This phase will be completed soon and phase 2 will commence in 2015 and will be for the remaining 600m of seawall and paving.

Structural inspection of the roofs at the Good Hope Centre.
The original architectural and structural design of the Good Hope Centre was carried out by Studio Nervi of Italy in 1977 and construction was completed in approximately 1979. The centre has since become a landmark in the City bowl and serves as a popular venue for community- and business related activities. The distinct structure consists of the lead-sheathed vaulted roofs supported on reinforced concrete arches. Project was to undertake a structural integrity and waterproofing assessment of the roofs and to report on repairs and waterproofing solutions to both the vaulted and flat roofs.
Dolomite Risk Management
Risk Management on various SAPS and DOJ three properties in Springs, and Etwatwa. ISA was appointed by DPW to redesign existing infrastructure on three separate sites. The existing infrastructure was not designed for the Dolomite nature of the area.
ISA were requested to investigate potential sites for the implementation of the Chenkenov Telescope Arrangement (CTA) project in the Southern Hemisphere. Sites close to Windhoek and Aus in Namibia were identified and investigated for their individual suitability to host the implementation of the CTA project. Issues such as geology, weather and provision of basic services (water, sewerage, electricity, and telecommunications) were compared and put forward to the CTA board for their contemplation and approval.
Architectural Consulting and design related services for Infrastructure and Building Projects within the Western Cape Operatng Area
A 3 year term contract to provided professional services. Task orders are issued on an ad hoc basis. To date have been appointed for three projects. Services include investigations and conceptual designs to clarify scope of works, preliminary and final designs and provide technical support during construction.
